Shasta County will double in population by the year 2050, forever changing the form, function, and livability of our home. New planning tools and broad public input are needed to determine how and where this new growth will occur.
Enter ShastaFORWARD>>, a community-based regional growth visioning process designed to engage the public like never before.
Utilizing the latest modeling technology, we are able to visualize what the future will look like given existing policies and trends.
Based on community values and priorities, a number of alternative growth scenarios will be created. When completed, the public will be asked to select their 'Preferred Regional Growth Vision' for the future.
