ShastaFORWARD>> is the single largest effort ever undertaken in Shasta County to inject local citizen participation into the community-building process.  Over three years in the making and loaded with detailed input from over 2,500 residents, the ShastaFORWARD>> Final Report was recently released to the public in March of 2010. 

Included in the Final Report is the community's preferred scenario or vision designed to accomodate Shasta County's growing population while preserving its natural landscape and agricultural lands; building long-term economic self-sufficiency; and providing an effective and healthy balance of mobility options.
